While continuing to transform the practice of medicine, Sanofi is embarking a new chapter of its Take the Lead strategy, relying on its focus on delivering transformation and simplification of the company core processes, optimizing resource allocation and deployments, to fuel business growth and investment in science.

To facilitate this transformation, a new Business Operations organization has been established, bringing together existing business services activities, and driving further expansion of centralized services at scale into a global unit, with the same focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity.

Business Operations will enable the delivery of best-in-class processes across areas such as R&D, M&S, Procurement, GTMC, People & Culture & Finance.

Within the Finance Services Line, reporting to the Customer Invoice to Cash (CI2C) Global Process Owner, the Global Business System Owner – HRC (High Radius Cloud), plays a critical role in the development, execution, and transformation of Sanofi’s Order to Cash (O2C) strategy.

The Global Business System Owner (BSO) – HRC, is responsible for ensuring that systems achieve and maintain their intended use throughout their entire life cycle, in digitalizing the relevant business processes they support, cash application, collection, ERP & customer portal integration, Invoice Presentment & Payment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Engaging the User Community: Serve as the primary point of contact for the CI2C users of the systems, fostering strong relationships with them and proactively gathering their needs, pain points, and improvement suggestions for each tool.

  • Consulting Process Owner: Work in close partnership with Global Process Owners/Leads (GPOs/GPLs) within CI2C., proactively engaging with the relevant GPLs to align on the proposed changes across all involved systems, whenever a user demand has the potential to impact global processes, and obtaining their final decision before proceeding.

  • Managing, filtering & prioritizing the demand: Receive and analyze user demands for all CI2C tools, conducting a primary filter to understand the business value and feasibility before translating them into clear and concise user stories for the respective Product Owners. Secure the business requirement definition in order to ensure an effective built of the solution with the Digital team. Provide well-defined user stories for evolution prioritization and review, ensuring user needs are effectively represented in the product roadmaps of all relevant systems.

  • Incident and Service Management Participation: Collaborate closely with the Digital Service Lead in incident and service management. While end-users will typically raise initial support tickets, the BSO will actively participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings to provide business context where needed, ensure timely and high-quality resolution of incidents affecting the user community, and advocate for improvements based on recurring issues.

  • Business Lead in implementation, extension, enhancements: Act as the business lead in initiatives impacting the CI2C solution ecosystem, taking ownership of gathering detailed business requirements from users across all affected tools and effectively presenting them to the project teams.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership: Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase for new deployments and enhancements across the CI2C tool landscape. This includes identifying and coordinating with relevant business testers, ensuring their availability, and overseeing the UAT execution to validate the delivered functionality in each system.

  • Provide process & Core Model expertise through implementations: ensure proper governance is set up and followed through the analysis of enhancement (Design Authority, etc.).

  • Ensure proper project management methodologies are in place: traceability matrix, project governance, agile ceremonies, pmo support.

About you

Experience:

  • Domain Expertise: Possess a strong and comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Customer Invoice to Cash business domain.

  • Tool Knowledge: Functional knowledge of HighRadius Cloud and other key tools within the CI2C ecosystem (e.g. SAP).

  • Sound accounting knowledge and understanding of the O2C E2E process, especially in the area of AR management, with ability to drive interdependencies with other organizations such as A2R and Finance.

Hard and Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills & ability to analyze process & systems from end to end to support business needs.

  • Strong delivery orientation and good project management skills including development of business cases, planning, execution, resolving critical issues, ensuring programs stay on track and measuring ROI.

  • Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization and ability to work across different geographies, languages, cultures, and business maturity levels.

  • Good communication skills with an ability to communicate and present to organization stakeholders.

  • Change agent with strong problem-solving skills, PM knowledge & prioritizing capacity.

Education:

  • Graduate degree in accounting, finance or commercial area, MBA is a plus.

  • Must have 5 to 10 years of process knowledge of Ci2C and related systems (High Radius Cloud).

Languages:

  • Fluency in English mandatory / French or other European languages desirable.
